Peru’s only liquefaction facility at Pampa Melchorita shipped three cargoes over the last two weeks, two of which are headed for Spain and one will land in China.

According to the shipping data provided by the state-owned Perupetro, the 136,600-cbm LNG carrier Galea departed the facility on December 16, setting the course for Spain.

The second cargo was shipped on December 20, onboard Methane Alison Victoria, the 2007-built LNG carrier capable of transporting 145,000 cubic meters of the chilled gas. The LNG tanker is heading for China.

Shell’s Gemmata LNG carrier with a capacity of 138,104 cubic meters loaded a cargo on Sunday, December 24, and will deliver the load to Spain.

Perupetro has not disclosed the exact destinations of any of the vessels.

With the three cargoes, the facility shipped five cargoes in December and 437 cargoes total since it started operations in June 2010.
