Peruvian LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita dispatched two cargoes to Spain, its first two cargoes in the month of November.

The first cargo was dispatched onboard Methane Rita Andrea with the capacity to transport 145,000 cubic meters of LNG on November 2.

The second cargo was loaded on November 6 onboard another 145,000-cbm LNG carrier Methane Jane Elizabeth.

The exact destination of the two vessels remained undisclosed.

These were the seventh and eight consecutive cargoes shipped to Spain from the Peruvian plant. The five cargoes loaded in October were all sent to Spain.

The 4.45 million tons per year gas liquefaction plant is located 170 kilometers south of Lima and receives gas via a 408-kilometer pipeline built across the Andes.

With the two latest cargoes, the facility has dispatched 428 vessels in total since it started operations in June 2010.
