Indonesian state-owned Pertamina is working on finalizing liquefied natural gas (LNG) export deals with Pakistani and Bangladesh importers.

Indonesia’s deputy energy minister Arcandra Tahar said the deals are being negotiated with Pakistan LNG and Petrobangla, the two companies led-by the respective governments, Reuters reports.

Tahar noted that the two deals would total between two and three million tons of the chilled fuel per year.

The term for the contracts is ten years and valued at some $12 billion, he said.

Both Pakistan and Bangladesh are looking to import LNG to feed the natural gas power stations under construction in both countries.
