Pechora LNG Project Technically Feasible and Commercially Attractive (Russia)

President of ALLTECH Group Dmitry Bosov, CEO “Pechora LNG” LLC Maxim Barskiy and Chairman of Board of Directors of Gazprom ,Alexey Miller, held a meeting on April 9 in Moscow, on the issue relating to the project execution of “Pechora LNG”.

A special focus has been given to the results of the project’s pre-investment studies performed in 2012 by “Gyprospezgas” JSC for the purpose of action team under the chairmanship of Nenets autonomous district governor Igor Fyedorov, as well as to the expert advice from “Gazprom VNIIGAZ”.

According to preliminary estimates from the part of “Gazprom” JSC, “Pechora LNG” Project is technically feasible and commercially attractive. Its execution will contribute to the development of NAD gas potential and solve a number of social and economic objectives facing the district.

In the follow up discussion participants of the meeting have adopted a resolution to carry out the additional marketing research to explore markets of the finished goods. Likewise the agreement has been reached to hold an extended meeting in partnership with “Gazprom” JSC and “Pechora LNG” LLC specialists at the end of April 2013.
