Four OWIC partners WIND Cable Services, DHSS, HICE, and Lubbers Logistics Group developed the plan to set up CCE.

CCE offers specialist training and education in the field of power cable installation, maintenance, and repair.

Service companies within the power industry can use CCE for their storage, testing, and maintenance needs.

Companies in search of project support for their cable activities can expect an independent approach in which CCE meets the customer’s needs. It means all available services and companies in Eemshaven will be taken into consideration in order to supply the best solution, the initiators stated.

The initiative is supported by Groningen Seaports and Regional Education Centers (ROC).

The ROC will develop specific cable technician training while theory training will be given at CCE’s Nijlicht office and conference building at Eemshaven port.
