Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference Moves to Amsterdam RAI, The Netherlands

Business & Finance

The 4th edition of Navingo’s Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference will move to Amsterdam RAI. Offshore Energy 2011 will take place on 11 and 12 October 2011. The event will now include one extra day. The extra day has a lot to offer visitors and exhibitors alike.

Visitors will not have to miss anything, and both visitors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to attend one of the conference sessions.

OE’s explosive growth calls for change of venue

In its three years of existence, Offshore Energy has enjoyed an explosive growth from 70 exhibitors in 2008 to 231 exhibitors in 2010. The expected future growth, makes it extremely difficult for Offshore Energy to continue at Willemsoord in Den Helder. The organization regrets to leave the Old Navy Yard because of the characteristic location and maritime history but Amsterdam RAI provides larger exhibition space, better accessibility, adequate parking and nearby hotel facilities for both exhibitors and visitors. Amsterdam is internationally known and Amsterdam RAI is more easily accessible for international exhibitors and visitors. With the new location, organizer Navingo hopes to attract more international attention for future editions of Offshore Energy and accommodate all interested exhibitors and visitors.

A two-day event allows more opportunities to visit

The organization has chosen to extend the Offshore Energy event by one day to allow the visitor more opportunities to visit the entire exhibition. Additionally, a two-day event will give visitors as well as exhibitors the opportunity to participate in one or more parts of the conference in 2011, which will once again run parallel to the exhibition. This extra day will make the Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference more attractive and worthwhile for each and every one of its exhibitors and visitors.

Just as it has for the past three years, Offshore Energy will focus on the offshore, oil, gas and wind sector; a sector where there is still enormous growth potential. The organization remains committed to including representatives from the entire offshore value chain in the editions of Offshore Energy – from outside the Dutch borders and beyond Europe. With a wider variety of exhibitors and the growing international pull of the event, Offshore Energy will benefit all those involved and ultimately appeal to a larger audience.

Target groups

Offshore Energy 2011 attracts an international audience of engineers, technical specialists, industry leaders and experts of oil companies, subcontractors, offshore services and operators to share ideas, debate the issues of the moment and to create common agendas for the future of both the upstream and downstream and wind energy industries.
