Wijtze van der Leij has a master’s degree in ship design from the Technical University of Delft and has been working for Damen since 2009. Entering the company as a student employee and after graduation he started at the design department where he worked on the designs of SOVs. In 2018 he moved to ship design and marine consultancy company OSD-IMT (a Damen subsidiary at the time) in the role of sales manager. Returning to Damen again in 2022 and now commercially responsible for the Offshore Wind portfolio.
