Renske Ytsma

Director Offshore Wind Development Continental Europe

After graduating from Delft University of Technology in 2008 Renske started to work directly on CO2 markets and then Renewables. She has held various management roles across Europe for three different Energy Utilities including leading wind operations in Italy and France. In 2020 Renske became responsible for the Innovation team within RWE Renewables which guided her into the direction of offshore wind development and its fast evolving technology. Since 2022 she holds the role of director offshore wind development Continental Europe. In her free time she enjoys yoga, the mountains and spending time with her three young children.

In Renske’s role she combines her knowledge of European languages with her motto “Putting tomorrow’s technology on today’s projects.”
