Innovation & Entrepreneurship  Director

Daniel Santa Cruz is Ocean Winds’ Innovation & Entrepreneurship Director since he joined the company in 2020. He has been working in onshore and offshore wind energy for the past 15 years in several positions and functions. In his current role, he is responsible for coordinating all innovation-related initiatives across the company and ensuring that innovation is brought from outside to the company and from the company itself. Prior to his role at Ocean Winds, he was already leading innovation efforts for the offshore wind industry as Head of Innovation Offshore Wind in Iberdrola.  Daniel holds a degree in theoretical physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has completed numerous executive education programmes in Corporate Innovation Management.
