O’Dowd: Gladstone Harbour Health Improves (Australia)

Ken O’Dowd, a Federal Member for Flynn, yesterday hosted Shadow Environment Minister Greg Hunt on an aerial tour of Gladstone Harbour.

According to O’Dowd, the health of Gladstone Harbour appears to be improving.

“I believe it’s not as good as we would like it to be, but I think there are signs there now that it is getting better,” O’Dowd stated.

He has been a critic of environmental monitoring in the harbour during the Western Basin Dredging Project, reports gladstoneobserver.com.
