Ocean Energy Europe 2015 puts finance in the spotlight

Ocean Energy Europe 2015 conference centers on funding access for the project developers, technology developers or supply chain actors with its two dedicated sessions.

‘Finance – Getting the balance right’ session will look at how the sector can approach financial risk in a constructive and creative way.

The representatives from leading companies and institutions will debate this crucial issue:

• Andrew Smith, Head of Renewable Energy Investment Fund, Scottish Investment Bank,
• Tim Cornelius, CEO of Atlantis Resources,
• Erick Pelerin, Business Development Director of Alstom Ocean,
• Paul Verhoef, Head of Renewable Energy Sources Unit at European Commission,
• Simon de Pietro, Managing Director of DP Energy.

This session will be followed by ‘Public Funding for Ocean Energy – Breaking Through to the Mainstream’, where key public officials will engage with the industry on their strategy for taking the industry forward.

Ocean Energy Europe 2015 will take place at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, on October 20-21, 2015.
