The service offering, announced in December last year, has a carrying capacity of around 3.1 million TEU with 331 containerships deployed on 41 services.

Alliance partners, including CMA CGM,  COSCO SHIPPING Lines, Evergreen Line and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), will now offer 20 Transpacific, 6 Asia-Europe, 4 Asia-Mediterranean, 4 Transatlantic, 5 Asia-Middle East and 2 Asia-Red Sea services.

“Since its launch last year, Ocean Alliance has been a great success from a customer perspective. We are pleased to start this new chapter with our Day Two Product, which perfectly illustrates our customer-centric strategy.

“By improving our services and offering our range of new added-value solutions, we continue to go beyond regular business relations with our customers by offering them an experience that meets their needs and expectations in order to build with them the shipping of tomorrow,”  Olivier Nivoix, Senior Vice President Ocean Alliance Lines, said on the occasion of the launch of the Ocean Alliance Day Two Product.

As informed, on the Transatlantic trade, the new offering will increase the coverage of the East Coast of the United States with a new service, Independence Bridge, and a direct service will be added from North China & South Korea to the Red Sea.

The service offering will be upgraded with additional ports of call, CMA CGM, which is deploying 121 ships to the alliance, said.
