Nisshin Shipping to Purchase Seven Resale Bulkers from China

Nisshin Shipping, a shipowning company from Japan is set to buy seven resale kamsarmax bulkers from two shipyards for the estimated price of USD 23 million each, according to SinoShip News.

Taking advantage of the current situation on the market, Nisshin Shipping will purchase two 82,000dwt bulk carriers from Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding and five vessels of the same type from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.

In November the company bought three 84,000DWT bulker newbuildings at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in Korea originally ordered by Taiwan’s Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) for around $25m per vessel.
