New ops manager for Underwater Cutting Solutions

Underwater Cutting Solutions (UCS), an Ashtead Technology company, has named Richard Lind its new operations manager.

Lind will lead operations from the company’s Inverurie, Aberdeenshire base, assisting UCS General Manager Fraser Collis.

Previously of Claxton Engineering, Lind brings BD and commercial management skills, having spent three decades within the subsea industry.

Richard Lind, operations manager, Underwater Cutting Solutions, said:

Lind has also held various roles while working for Proserv and Baker Hughes in the Middle East and Asia.

“Richard’s industry knowledge and experience will be vital in the execution of near and long-term business objectives.

“I look forward to working closely with him as we continue to deliver comprehensive subsea and topside cutting, dredging, cleaning and coating removal services for our clients.
