New contract for Simon Møkster’s MPSV Stril Server

Norwegian supplier of offshore support vessels, Simon Møkster Shipping AS, has informed that its Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) Stril Server was awarded a new contract. 

According to the company, the Stril Server was this week awarded a 10-weeks contract with Acta Marine Offshore. The contract has 5×1 weeks options. The vessel will work in the Dutch sector and it is scheduled to start in early August.

Furthermore, the company notes that Stril Server will act as a front-runner for the Acta Ortion which is under construction in Holland. An Ampelmann system will be installed and the vessel will be used for accommodation.

The Stril Server was built by Simek Yard and delivered to the owner in 2014. It is 85.45 m long vessel of MM 85 MSV design. It can be fitted with two work ROVs and one observation/medium class ROV all in hangars with side doors.
