The latest vessel to be transitioned to in-house management from Shell International Trading and Shipping Company (Shell) is Q-Max LNG carrier Lijmiliya.

Nakilat has assumed full management and operations of the vessel with effect from October 27, 2020, it said in its statement.

With a cargo-carrying capacity of 263,300 cubic meters, Lijmiliya is wholly-owned by Nakilat and chartered by Qatargas.

The vessel built in South Korea by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering was delivered in January 2009 and has been in service ever since.

Lijmiliya is the seventh vessel that will come under the management of Nakilat Shipping Qatar Ltd. (NSQL) this year, bringing the total number of vessels managed by NSQL to 26, comprising of 22 LNG and 4 LPG carriers.
