MT Tidal CEO steps down

Business & Finance

MT Tidal has announced that the company’s CEO and co-founder, Paul Morris, is retiring from the position.

According to MT Tidal, Morris is stepping down due to the worsening health conditions.

David Wylie, founder and CEO of Mosscliff Environmental, will become the interim CEO, until the new CEO is appointed, MT Tidal’s press release reads.

Morris said: “I have loved this business and firmly believe in its future being in the ‘mix’ of renewable energy sources that will reduce our dependency on fossil and other climate changing energy sources.”

To remind, MT Tidal was formed earlier this year, and represents a joint venture between Tocardo Tidal Turbines and Mosscliff Environmental.

The UK-based tidal venture is mainly focused on the UK, Irish and French markets.
