MRC to launch marine renewables supply chain database

Marine Renewables Canada (MRC) plans to release an online supply chain database this fall in an effort to strengthen the links between marine renewable energy industry.

The MRC team is nearing completion of its online, interactive database that will connect members and non-members alike to interested marine energy stakeholders across the globe, the association informed.

The database features will include a detailed search criteria that indexes members by how they service the marine energy supply chain, along with search filters that sort companies/organizations by capabilities, tags, and geographic locations, amongst other options.

MRC is Canada’s wave, tidal, and river current energy association representing technology and project developers, utilities, researchers, and the marine energy supply chain.
