MMA integrates Neptune under one brand

Business & Finance

Australian offshore contractor Neptune Marine Services has been rebranded to MMA Offshore.

MMA Offshore

This follows MMA’s acquisition of Neptune in November last year.

The ASX-listed firm wrapped up the acquisition for the final purchase consideration of A$18.5 million.

MMA said the rebrand will enable the combined business to provide a streamlined service moving forward.

The company also believes that operating under a single brand should boost its reputation as preferred marine services provider.

MMA’s managing director, David Ross, said:

“Today marks an important step in the integration of the Neptune business into MMA, as we move forward as a single company specialising in offshore vessel services, subsea services and project logistics.

“We are excited to be consolidating our brands and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional marine services to our clients.”

In April this year MMA won a contract to support foundation installation for an offshore wind project in Taiwan.

The two-month contract is also MMA’s first vessel contract within the renewable sector.
