South Hook LNG terminal is awaiting new cargo from Qatar aboard the LNG carrier Mesaimeer, according to the Milford Haven Port Authority website.

The Mesaimeer LNG carrier, with a capacity of 216,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive in the UK’s South Hook terminal on August 2, and that will be the first shipment of Qatari LNG cargo for the month and second in four days.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
