Manuplas Expands to Plymouth, UK

Manuplas have announced their expansion to a second factory in Plymouth, UK this summer to support the growth of their offshore product range.

An established composite and polymer engineering company, Manuplas has outgrown its current plant in Plymouth. Securing a second plant will enable Manuplas to focus on developing their range of buoyancy, clamping and protection solutions for the subsea and deep-water oil and gas sector.

Manuplas is continually expanding its subsea product range which includes Pipe Laying Floats, MODSYN Subsurface Floats, Umbilical Floats, Subsea Installation Buoys, Transponder Floats, Modular Mooring Buoys, Distributed Buoyancy Modules, Flange Protectors, Piggyback Saddles, Subsea Cable Protection and ROV/AUV Buoyancy.

Manuplas have twenty years of expertise in technical and polymer material innovation. They have diversified from their routes in supplying engineering solutions for the marine industry and now also hold a great presence in the composite, leisure, offshore and renewables markets.

Manuplas’ new manufacturing facility includes state of the art syntactic foam processing technology for use in their offshore products. These materials are suitable for their range of subsea products operating in water depths up to 3000m.

The Company will be exhibiting at Offshore Energy (Stand 11.010), which takes place 15-16 October 2013, at Amsterdam RAI, The Netherlands.
