Certification means that customers and stakeholders can benefit from the knowledge that Mainstay has built an effective environmental management system in both its strategic business plan and its day-to-day operations.

The ISO certification is the most widely accepted and trusted environmental management system globally for any business. We are delighted to have achieved this. It reinforces our commitment to continually improve how we identify, manage, monitor and control environmental issues,Stewart Graves, managing director, said.

Mainstay completed the upgrade and re-certification to ISO’s Quality Management Systems standard (9001:2015) back in January 2018. The company is working toward achieving ISO certification 45001:2018 for their Occupational Health and Safety Management System to develop an Integrated Business Management System.

To remind, Mainstay recently secured a contract for the fabrication and assembly of the main structure for Bombora’s wave energy demonstration device ‘mWave’.
