LNG tanker docks at Dahej terminal

The 155,000 cbm Aseem has docked today at Petronet LNG’s Dahej terminal on India’s west coast, shipping data reveals.

The LNG carrier, managed by the Shipping Corporation of India, is carrying a cargo from Qatar, the world’s largest LNG exporter.

To meet the growing demand of natural gas for electricity and fertilizer, more than 10 additional LNG import terminals are now planned to be built in India.
