L&N Scotland Wins Subsea Contract Worth USD 1.9 Million from GE VetcoGray

Business & Finance

L&N (Scotland) has been awarded two contracts worth in excess of £1.2 million by GE VetcoGray.

The Aberdeen-based engineering and fabrication company will manufacture and supply 110 subsea control products to be deployed on various North Sea subsea projects.

The award reinforces L&N’s decision to focus on the subsea sector while maintaining its traditional business lines in valve supply and maintenance and welding and cladding services.

L&N (Scotland) managing director, Alastair Chalmers, said: “We have made a significant investment in equipment, technology and training to offer these specialist subsea services and that investment is now paying off.

“We have been successful in expanding the subsea side of our business and in securing contracts with a number of important E&P companies and this will underpin future growth.

L&N (Scotland) operations director, Craig Finnie, added: “We are delighted GE VetcoGray has opted to place these contracts with us and look forward to strengthening our relationship with them by completing these projects on time and on budget.”

L&N (Scotland) Ltd is an independent engineering company based in Dyce, Aberdeen, Scotland. The company supply, repair, refurbish and modify valves, actuator and control panel systems used throughout the global oil and gas industry.
