Lloyd’s Register creates subsea inspection service

Lloyd’s Register (LR) has launched Subsea Inspection Service to support underwater inspections in subsea cable, wind farm, and oil and gas sectors.

Services include project management, consultancy, personnel, quality control, data processing and data management, applicable to ROV, AUV and diver projects, LR informed.

The newly established unit will be headed by LR’s Subsea Inspection Manager Andrew Inglis, and delivered by the company’s in-house experts in subsea inspection.

LR’s Subsea Inspection Service will be managed and co-ordinated in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.

Inglis said: “LR has significant capability and experience within the subsea sector including management of a wide range of offshore projects and operations across the energy mix.

“By uniting this expertise and experience with our focus upon safety, quality and cost-efficiency, we aim to be the preferred subsea inspection management supplier for our clients.”
