K2 Moves UK Office, Establishes Dublin Outpost

Business & Finance

Wind energy consultancy K2 Management has relocated its UK office from London to Glasgow, Scotland, and has set up a branch office in Dublin, Ireland.

The latest developments follow the company’s 30 percent increase in revenue in the past year, which was accompanied by a 40 percent increase in the number of its employees.

“We are ramping up our presence in Glasgow as the city, and Scotland, has the best combination in the UK in terms of a talent base for recruitment, industry location and wind power research. We already have a strong pipeline of projects supporting our clients as technical advisors to lenders on matters of due diligence or directly involved as engineers. Given our track record and experience here, we expect to grow our local team of wind experts significanlly in the near future,” K2 Management UK Managing Director and Scotsman Simon Luby said.

The K2 Management Glasgow office is located in the Inovo building, a part of Innovation Zone, the partnership between Scottish Enterprise and Strathclyde University.

K2 has also appointed Enda O’Doherty, a Project Engineer & Consultant, to grow the company’s activity in Ireland.

“I am looking forward to supporting the development of wind energy in Ireland, and K2’s expanding global footprint uniquely positions the Company to service Irish developers and investors who want to invest abroad,” O’Doherty said.
