JDR names new CTO

JDR, a subsea technology and service provider, has appointed James Young as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Young will take up the role of CTO from Februray 1, 2016.

Prior to becoming CTO, Young led the attraction and development of JDR’s engineering talent as Engineering Director.

David Currie, JDR’s CEO, said: “This appointment truly recognises the responsibilities and key contribution that James is making to JDR’s future direction and technological capability, as well as his key role as a member of our executive team and valued partner to me in my role as CEO.”

To remind, JDR Cable Systems recently entered into collaboration agreement with Atlantis Resources to develop subsea cabling solutions for tidal energy sector.
