Ithaca hires DOF platform supplier

Norwegian supply shipping company DOF has been awarded a contract by Ithaca for one of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).

DOF said on Thursday that the contract was awarded to the Skandi Barra vessel.

The vessel will support Ithaca’s drilling operations and secures utilization for around four months. DOF has not revealed the contract start date.

Built in 2005, the Skandi Barra is of an MT 6000 MK II Design. The vessel has been working on a long-term contract mainly in the North Sea since it joined DOF’s fleet. It is 85.7 meters long, 19.7 meters wide, and can accommodate 24 people.
