Indonesia: Nusantara Regas Eyes U.S. LNG

Indonesia’s PT Nusantara Regas is in negotiations to buy liquefied natural gas from an U.S. supplier, Bloomberg reported, citing Hendra Jaya, President- Director of the company.

The company plans to import as much as 2 million mt of LNG a year.

We are negotiating with one potential supplier. The price of U.S LNG can still compete with the price we get from domestic supplier,” Hendra Jaya said.

PT Nusantara Regas is a JV company formed by Pertamina and PGN to build and operate the West Java FSRU Project.
