Petronet LNG’s Dahej terminal on India’s west coast is scheduled to get a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar on Sunday, shipping data reveals.

The 155,000 cbm Aseem, managed by the Shipping Corporation of India, departed from the Ras Laffan port yesterday, according to the data.

To meet the growing demand of natural gas for electricity and fertilizer, more than 10 additional LNG import terminals are now planned to be built in India.
