IKM Subsea Singapore has won two contracts for the provision of up to five remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).

IKM said on Monday that the first contract was for the provision of two ROVs for a floating liquefied natural gas (FNLG) mooring installation in Bangladesh.

The company provided one Merlin WR200 and a Comanche with the necessary toolings onboard the vessel Jumbo Javelin.

IKM added that the client Jumbo Offshore could extend the operating weather window in Bangladesh with the use of the Merlin WR200.

The second contract is a repeat order from previous years with Solstad Farstad. IKM has been working with Solstad Farstad since 2015.

IKM Subsea will provide up to three Merlin WR200 workclass ROVs for the campaign that consists of an FSO changeover, jacket, and pipeline installation. The ROVs will be delivered together with required toolings to execute the project.

Mahesh Govindan, managing director for the Asia Pacific and Middle East, said: “We are proud to have repeated clients as it proves we are doing it right. A good relationship with clients is part of the IKM culture that helps to ensure that projects are executed well, and deliverables are met with the quality required.”
