IHS CERAWeek 2015: What industry leaders said

Another, thirty fourth, annual IHS CERAweek conference has drawn to a close in Houston, the energy capital of the world.

The event, held at the Hilton Americas hotel between April 20 – 24, attracted hundreds of energy industry decision makers, eager to hear what energy leaders have to say on topics such as low oil prices, future of gas consumption, CO2 emissions, lifting of sanctions in Iran, Arctic drilling, U.S. export ban and many more.

Leading industry names such as Rex W. Tillerson, CEO of Exxon Mobil, Patrick Pouyanne, CEO of Total, as well as Ryan Lance, CEO of ConocoPhillips, ENI’s Claudio Descalzi, Pemex’s Emilio Lozoya, and Statoil’s Eldar Saetre, to name a few,  gathered at what has been described as the Super Bowl of energy events, or one of the most important energy events in the world.

According to organizers, this year, speakers included over 300 industry executives, government officials and thought leaders as well as 100+ IHS experts on energy, economics, geopolitics and strategy.
