GTT will design the tanks of the three vessels, which will each offer a total cargo capacity of 174,000 m3.

The tanks will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.

According to GTT, the delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the fourth quarter of 2027.

This year, the containment specialist already received several tank design orders from Hyundai Samho.

In January and February, it received orders for the tank design of new LNG carriers (LNGCs) and very large ethane carriers (VLECs).

The orders were made on behalf of European, Middle Eastern, and Asian shipowners.

All tanks will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system.

To remind, Mark III technology is a cryogenic liner used to contain liquefied gas at low temperatures during shipping, onshore, and offshore storage, at atmospheric pressure.
