According to GTT, the order was made on behalf of an Asian shipowner.

The LNG carriers will each offer a total cargo capacity of 174,000 m3 and will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.

The delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the first and third quarters of 2027.

This year, GTT received multiple tank design orders from the South Korean shipyard.

In May, it got an order for the tank design of two new LNG carriers on behalf of a European shipowner.

These LNGCs, each with a total cargo capacity of 200,000 m3, are scheduled for delivery between the second and fourth quarters of 2027.

In February, a similar order was placed on behalf of a European shipowner.

GTT was booked for the tank design of three LNGCs which will also offer a total cargo capacity of 200,000 m3 each.

The delivery of these vessels is scheduled between the second and fourth quarters of 2026.

Overall, the beginning of 2023 was quite busy for GTT. It received multiple tank design and technology solution orders, and it entered several partnerships.
