Huntingdon Fusion Techniques, manufacturers of tube and pipe Weld Purging Systems that are heavily used in the Cryogenic Industries, in combination with their US Partners COB Industries Inc, joined together in making the following statement: “The Fabtech/AWS annual exhibition/show was a great success for us this year. “

“COB has always considered the Fabtech/AWS Show to be a major part of our marketing efforts and this year we quadrupled the size of our booth to reflect the dramatic growth in the sales of the HFT product range in the USA.

This year we returned bigger and better, with a larger booth and floor area and a proportional level of display artwork” said Cletus O’Brien, President of COB Inc.

He went on to say: “We have gathered some fantastic feedback from individuals who visited our booth and welcome the opportunity of working with them in the near future.”

“New products that were showcased by Huntingdon Fusion Techniques and COB were a great hit.

“Drawing a lot of attention in particular was the new Argweld® Quick Purge® II Pipe Purging System with the innovative low profile purge valve to avoid scratching polished metal surfaces that can cause loss of corrosion resistance.

“In addition, the new PurgElite® series of Tube and Pipe purging systems also fitted with the low profile valve.

“The response to the new Argweld® PurgEye® “Family Series of Weld Purge Monitors™” proved that the market wants the ability to choose the proper Weld Purge Monitor™ for each job measuring in ‘parts per million’ not simply in percentage.

“Leading the ‘Family’ was the fully IP65 rated, waterproof and dustproof Weld Purge Monitor™, the PurgEye® 100 which is the most widely used instrument in the World for weld purging and is weld known to be the most reliable, accurate, low cost Weld Purge Monitor with capabilities that are unmatched by any other instrument.

“The brand new “PurgEye® 300 Nano” was also a huge hit at the show. It seems there is a growing demand for welders with the ability to weld titanium and other exotics that require very low oxygen contents.

“As with previous Fabtech/AWS shows, there were many repeat visitors from all branches of industry, who came to see their “Weld Purge Guys” with a “Stainless Reputation”.
