Grounded Grete Maersk pulled free

 

Friday Vietnamese time managed seven tugboats to pull the grounded container ship Grete Maersk Danish of the land next to the Vietnamese container port in Vung Tau. After the 115,700 DWT large container ship was pulled free, put it to sea under its own power to implement a series of safety checks before it is again headed for Vang Tau. Grete Maersk, which has a capacity of 9,074 TEU came from Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia and was about to enter Vung Tau with a pilot on board when it ran aground Tuesday morning.
