New Zealand: Lyttelton Port damaged by earthquake

The 6.3 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday caused damage to infrastructure and facilities at Lyttelton Port, the port that serves Christchurch. No injuries were sustained at the port.
The oil berth reportedly held up well, and if the pipework is fully serviceable, as expected, engineering staff reported that the berth should be operational by tomorrow. A tanker is scheduled for fuel discharge on Saturday.
