Thai fisheries sector unfazed by new EU regulations

The Thai Frozen Food Association (TFFA) has maintained that it is confident that Thailand is facing a promising outlook despite new EU regulations banning the fishery products suspected of originating from illegal, unregulated or unreported (IUU) fishing. From 2010, Thailand’s Fisheries Department will be required to certify that products for export are non-IUU.
