Horizon Geosciences Buys New Vessel

Horizon Geosciences has purchased a new vessel for geotechnical investigations, the Horizon Nomad.

The Horizon Nomad is a 2014 build, 60 meter long, DP2 vessel.

This vessel has been designed to cater to offshore geotechnical investigations and geophysical surveys complying with the marine standards set by the global oil and gas operators.

The vessel can be mobilized with a range of equipment including geotechnical drill rig, geophysical survey including UHR and 2D HR, shallow seabed sampling equipment, full range of ROVs and a shallow water geophysical survey vessels.

The purchase of this vessel is testament to Horizon’s continued success and will be a key resource as Horizon grow into new regions. The vessel will increase Horizon’s availability of permanently mobilized vessels something which is paramount in being responsive to our clients demanding schedules,” the company said.
