According to HelioRec, the inspection was thorough, covering all aspects of the floating solar power plant.

“Our dedicated engineers and specialists have worked diligently to confirm that the system meets all regulatory standards and operates at peak efficiency. We extend our gratitude to Brest Port authorities for their cooperation and support throughout this project. Together, we are paving the way for a greener future,” said HelioRec in a social media post.

The key highlights of the project include an innovative design featuring floating solar panels capable of withstanding harsh maritime conditions while maximizing energy output.

The 25 kW floating solar plant was installed back in October 2023. HelioRec said that the installation was conducted in very challenging conditions, as the Port of Brest experiences extreme tidal changes, with tides reaching up to seven meters.
