Greatship sheds ROV support vessel

Greatship Group, an operator of offshore drilling rigs and offshore vessels, has decided to sell one of its ROV support vessels (ROVSV). 

Greatship Global Offshore Services, a Singapore incorporated subsidiary of Greatship (India) Limited (GIL), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Great Eastern Shipping Company, has signed a contract to sell its ROV Support Vessel, the Greatship Ragini.

According to the company, the vessel is expected to be delivered to the buyer in Q2/Q3 FY17. The company did not reveal the name of the buyer, nor the value of the contract.

The Greatship Ragini is a 2013-built vessel with 78 m LOA, 17 m breadth, and a deadweight of 3600 tons.

GIL and its subsidiaries currently own and operate five PSVs, eight AHTSVs, two MPSSVs, six ROVSVs and four jack-up rigs.
