Germany University of Oldenburg's Course on Offshore Wind about to Start

A new course is about to start in a few weeks within the Offshore Wind Study at the University of Oldenburg. The deadline for the remaining free places is September 25th 2013.

Within 10 months, participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the entire topic of offshore wind energy. The course is aimed at all companies in the industry that are involved in offshore wind projects directly or indirectly, such as utilities, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, shipping companies, banks and insurance companies.

The study is intended for construction engineers, business administration or professionals working in sales or marketing.

The course covers all relevant offshore wind energy topics such as: licensing, financing, logistics and technical components and operation of an offshore wind farm.

The studies are a joint project of ForWind – Center for Wind Energy Research of the Universities of Oldenburg, Hanover and Bremen, the Wind Energy Agency (WAB) and the city of Oldenburg.
