The vessel with the hull number 2262 will complete the trials on Saturday, according to the Greece-based LNG shipper.

The 180,000 cubic meter vessel has similar specifications as the recently-delivered GasLog Wales that started its charter with Japan’s Jera.

It features GTT’s Mark III Flex Plus containment system and WinGD’s low-pressure two-stroke (X-DF) propulsion.

Gaslog expects to take the delivery of GasLog Westminister in the third quarter of this year after which the vessel will start a long-term charter with a unit of UK’s Centrica.

Gaslog has a further four vessels on order at Samsung Heavy with delivery dates scheduled during 2020-2021.
