GALLERY: Ultra Deep launches DSCV Andy Warhol


Offshore vessel operator Ultra Deep Solutions (UDS) has launched its newbuild diving support and construction vessel (DSCV) Andy Warhol. 

The company on Thursday revealed through its social media channels that the Andy Warhol is its fourth vessel in the fleet now on the water.

The delivery of the DNV-GL classed vessel is planned for the third quarter of 2018. It is FiFi 3, 18 men Saturation system to 300 msw. The vessel also comes with WROVs.

Ultra Deep Solution CEO, Sheldon Hutton, said: “Once again this is another milestone for UDS. We pride our selves in building a quality product for our clients in the industry. We expect a major charter contract to be solidified on the Warhol in the next few weeks. Our goals remain the same and we will be signing multiple new vessel contracts in the coming months.”

As for the company’s other newbuilds, the Picasso, the Van Gogh, and the Ultra Deep Matisse DSCVs are expected to be delivered in 1Q 2018, 2Q 2018, and 1Q 2019, respectively.

Back in December, Ultra Deep won contracts for three of its vessels, DSCV Van Gogh, DSCV Picasso, and DSCV Lichtenstein.
