France: Design International and Alu Marine Design New 58’ Trawler Catamaran

 

Trawler 58′ a modern and innovative catamaran is developped by the Stirling Design International architect office in collaboration with the ALU MARINE shipyard, this new 58-foot trawler catamaran is a concentrate of innovations.

Looks at the existing trawler, she has the particularity to offer both spacious and comfortable interior, excellent sailing performance and optimum beam to facilitate access to berths.

Design

This trawler has benefited from the most recent developments in design and layout. With a very modern look, clean lines and powerful hull, she is unique and meets perfectly the most demanding expectations: ergonomics, space, easy maneuvers…

Built entirely in aluminum, it ensures longevity, robustness and performance.

An optimum width

The trawlers of this size usually exceed 8 m wide. With a width of 5.90 m, this catamaran can find its place in most marinas and anchorages.

 

Comfort and ergonomic layouts

Inside, the layouts have been optimized to provide a spacious owner’s suite and three large double cabins.

The wheelhouse, slightly raised, is located in the heart of space, providing optimal brightness and visibility. The trawler 58′ is an elegant and functional catamaran where outdoor lounge, saloon, galley and owner cabin are on the same deck.

Performance

Equipped with two powerful engines of 380 hp, according to the latest environmental standards, its two hulls of 2.85 m wide at the waterline can easily reach 19 knots in comfort.
