First LNG cargo aboard Q-Flex carrier arrives in Marmara Ereglisi terminal

The first LNG cargo aboard a Q-Flex liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier has been delivered to the Marmara Ereglisi import terminal.

Qatar’s Nakilat, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping company, said via social media on Tuesday that the LNG cargo was delivered aboard the Al Sheehaniya Q-Flex carrier.

According to data from VesselsValue, the cargo was delivered to the Marmara Ereglisi LNG terminal on June 12. The vessel is currently located in the Persian Gulf.

The Al Sheehaniya LNG carrier was built by the South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) and delivered to Nakilat in 2010. The vessel has a cargo carrying capacity of 210,200 cubic meters.
