The 406.7MW wind farm is located 25-40 kilometres off the Danish west coast and will comprise 49 MHI Vestas 8.3MW turbines. AIS data shows that Brave Tern is currently en route to the installation site.

The Port of Esbjerg has been the base port throughout the project, including the load out and storage of the monopiles, the last of which was installed in January 2018, and transition pieces, the first of which is expected to be installed by Jan De Nul’s Vole au vent shortly.

Vattenfall plans to fully commission the wind farm in 2020.
