Business & Finance

Fabricom Offshore Services has been awarded a two-year contract extension by Bluewater Services for the provision of engineering and associated services to its fleet of floating production storage and offloading vessels (FPSOs).

Fabricom said on Wednesday that the framework agreement between the two companies was for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and associated services to the Bluewater fleet of FPSOs located internationally.

The company added that the award continued the relationship between the two companies dating back to 2013.

Nick Oates, business unit director at Fabricom, said: “We are extremely pleased to have been awarded this contract, which allows us to further develop our relationship with Bluewater. By enhancing our service offering it enables Fabricom to provide the highest level of support to our clients and maintain our goal of being our clients partner of choice.”

Fabricom Offshore Services is a provider of fully integrated EPC delivery solutions to the oil and gas industry.

To remind, the last time Offshore Energy Today reported on a contract extension between Fabricom and Bluewater was in late September 2016. At the time, Fabricom was awarded a one-year contract extension.
