Enpro Subsea Establishes New Base

Business & Finance

Production optimisation specialist Enpro Subsea has moved into a new UK headquarters.

The number of personnel at its facility in Westhill, Aberdeenshire has expanded to over 40 in recent months to support an 100% increase in international projects for its range of enhanced production solutions during the past year.

The business, which also has a presence in Houston and Ghana, has seen its Flow Access Modules (FAM) technology selected by major and independent operators with over 50 systems now adopted globally.

In addition to FAM success, the company’s Flow Intervention Services (FIS) technology has been deployed on multi-well hydraulic intervention campaigns in West Africa and will be delivering its 15ksi deepwater FIS in early 2019 with the support of an R&D funding grant from Scottish Enterprise. The company has also been contracted for continued support in the decommissioning of gravity base structures (GBS) in the North Sea.

The firm’s new 5,000ft² office at Arnhall Business Park, Westhill, has double the space of its previous site.

Earlier this year, Enpro Subsea secured a significant inward investment from EV Private Equity, as part of its investment in fast-growing North Sea businesses.

Enpro Subsea managing director, Ian Donald, said: “Our team aims to cost effectively maximise recovery from subsea wells. The new office move confirms our commitment to continued growth and excellent facilities for both our clients and our employees. We have had a successful period and a strong global pipeline of orders for our FAM, FIS and decommissioning technologies.
