Energinet Seeks Baltic Pipe UXO Consultancy

Energinet wants to purchase UXO consultancy related to a risk mitigation program for the Baltic Pipe project.

The scope includes preparation of reactive measures, analysis of existing survey data, consultancy related to UXO survey and inspection, UXO risk sign-off documentation and possible additional services.

The Baltic Pipe is a strategic infrastructure project that will allow transport of gas from fields in Norway to the Danish and Polish markets, as well as to neighbouring countries.

The project is organised as collaboration between Energinet and the polish gas transmission system operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.

Baltic Pipe will including the expansion of the Polish gas infrastructure consist of approximately 800-950 kilometres new pipelines and is projected to start its gas transmission services by the end of 2022.

The new pipeline would expand Europe’s gas transmission capacity by up to 10 billion cubic metres of gas per year.
